Update of the Rachel and Erik Stapleton family within the Tribe of Delroy, 2025

Rachel Matz Stapleton was born on April 21st, 1988. She spent her growing up years always busy with activities; softball and basketball; youth group at church and camp at Trout Lake and Northern Pines every summer.  She attended Bethel University and graduated with a degree in nursing. The summer after her junior year she worked in a missions hospital in Indonesia. Working with needy expectant mothers there gave her the desire to specialize in midwifery.  After graduating from Bethel she went to the University of MN and obtained her doctorate degree in nursing practice specializing in Midwifery.  She has worked as a midwife in a birth center in St. Paul since her graduation.  She considers this a ministry as well as a job.

Rachel met Erik Stapleton while attending Bethel University. They were married in August of 2013. Erik received his Masters degree in business administration from St. Thomas University and now works as an investment banker.

Rachel and Erik have been blessed with two children. Eleanor Verone born in 2019 and Franklin Arthur born in 2021. Rachel’s schedule enables her to spend much of her time with them.  They purchased a home in south Minneapolis and they love spending their free time in the neighborhood parks and lakes. City Church is a half a block away from their home and they both are very involved in serving there.
